Harry Deal & The Galaxies
have entertained thousands of people on TV, in concerts, and at
dances all over the southeast.
The group had its beginning at the statewide Beta Club convention in
Asheville, NC.
Soon they worked their way through local and regional 4-H Club
contests to an appearance at the Reynolds Coliseum, NC State Campus,
Raleigh.
During the first year they began playing at Myrtle Beach Pavilion
where they later set house attendance records that stood for years.
Soon, Harry & The Galaxies started recording for labels based in New
York City (Atlantic, Jubilee, Coed, and Laurie). Later the
group recorded for SSS International, Nashville, TN; TK Records,
Miami, FL; and Supreme Records in Belgium and Holland.
